EMBOSSED VACUUM BAGS AND VACUUM PROCESS
Challenge/Problem
We noticed slow vacuuming time when using narrow vacuum bags. The root of the problem was thought to be the shape of the embossed surface. Since we got better results, we were convinced that rectangular surface does a better job than rhomboid embossing pattern.
Solution
After multiple tests we came to a conclusion that the cause of the problem lies within the depth of embossed pattern and not in the shape. The shape was changed and indented further.
Benefits
All of our vacuum bags were standardized. We applied new indented embossing, thus removing vacuum related troubles. The speed of vacuum is determined on the size of the vacuum bag.
UNIVERSAL TOP LIDDING FILM AND ITS USAGE
Challenge/Problem
Buyer decided on salad tray, made out of APET material. Because of its simplicity mono APET trays are cheaper and easier to recycle but have problems with closing and sealing the lid (APET/PE trays close/seal much easier). Besides simple sealing, films need to have great anti-fog characteristics and should open easily.
Solution
We selected a special type of universal material which we laminated on the top side with BOPET as a barrier film. The film can be used with the following materials: EPS, HIPS, APET and CPET. It also has excellent AF and Peel properties.
AF*- anti-fog coating applied on the film to increase the transparency of the film
Peel*- easy film removal, without any tools
